As part of the Omega alliance, WellPartner Consulting AS has entered into a frame agreement to deliver consultants to Statoil. The alliance will provide consultancy service within technical and project-management disciplines for the next four years.

The alliance is led by Omega AS and includes Brunel Energy, Ocean Maxwell, North Q-HSE, ServGroup, WellPartner Consulting, Endswell, Proactima, Pride, Human Factor Solutions, WSP, PDS Protek and Westcon Yards.

Together, the alliance will cover the multi-technical and project-management disciplines for Statoil’s projects in Norway and international projects that are managed from Norway. Specialist suppliers of HSEQR are Pride, Proactima and Human Factor Solutions. The areas of drilling and well are covered by Ocean Maxwell, WellPartner Consulting, Endswell, ServGroup and North Q-HSE. Specialists on technical disciplines are WSP, PDS Protek and Westcon Yards. Omega and Brunel provide consultants across all areas.

The agreement takes effect on June 1 2016 and spans four years, with the possibility of up to eight years in total including options.

The goal of the alliance is to offer Statoil a broad specter of competency via one frame agreement and contribute to simplification and economies of scale, says Omega’s CEO, Petter Aalvik.
“The companies in the alliance are leaders in their fields with expertise and extensive experience from the oil and energy sectors. Together, we will deliver consultants with competency within all disciplines. We are proud of the fact that Statoil has chosen to award us with this agreement,” says Aalvik.
